The eligibility criteria for the CUCET for law courses includes:
- Candidates need to have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board.
- For the General Category students, a candidate needs to secure a minimum of 50 percent in Class 12th. While it should be 45 percent in Class 12th which is applicable for the SC/ST students.
The CUCET BA LLB exam pattern will be the same for the law courses as well. There will be 2 sections, i.e., Part A and Part B. Part A will have 25 MCQs and it will be asked from various topics. Part A topic includes the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness. However, the Part B of this examination will be domain-based.
CUCET in DU for LLB courses
In 2022, the University of Delhi is going to accept the CUCET scores. However, the notification isn’t released for the list of courses for which this exam will be conducted. Generally, the CUCET includes law courses as well. But in Delhi University, the admissions for the law courses are done based on the separate entrance examination that is conducted for these courses as well. This creates confusion between the students that which exam will be applicable for the admissions of the LLB courses.
The answer to this question is still not clear. There is no such notification released by the DU authorities about the CUCET BBA LLB. However, it is difficult that DU will change this pattern of admissions. But things are not clear yet. Official notification is still yet to come.
CUCET in BHU for LLB courses
CUCET 2022 will also be accepted by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). BHU has been a part of the CUCET examination previously as well. In 2021, the BHU accepted the scores of the CUCET for the admissions to various courses. This year, things aren’t yet cleared for the CUCET for law courses. There is no notification regarding the applicability of the CUCET for the B.A. LLB course.
The notification is yet to be released and only then things can be clear. All the candidates who want to have admissions to the LLB course at BHU should keep an eye over the official website of the BHU for any latest update regarding the same.
