CUET BHM 2020 was conducted on 17th May 2020. This year, the candidates had to attend the exam online from their homes due to the lockdown following COVID-19. Christ University BHM Entrance Test is conducted as a part of the admission procedure for the Hotel Management course at Christ (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. Section-wise analysis of CUET BHM 2020
1. General English
This was the easiest part of everything. The questions in this part followed the pattern from previous years, which was an advantage for the students who had practiced using the previous year’s question papers. Reading comprehension was the part of this section that was responsible for a lot of marks. Careful reading and analysis easily improved the score of a candidate. Other topics covered included synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, etc. The pattern and types of questions are as follows:

2. Reasoning Ability
CUET BHM 2020 followed the same pattern of previous year question papers for this section too. The section was overall easy, but there were a few questions that proved a little tricky for candidates. - Direction and Distance
- Visual Reasoning
- Reasoning and Assumptions

3. General Knowledge
This section was easy for the students who are generally updated with current affairs. Others found it a little tough. Questions were asked regarding national and international events that took place in the past year. Some general questions about history and science were also asked. - Sports News
- Environmental News
- Eminent Personalities
4. Quantitative Aptitude
This section was a little tougher compared to the other sections as questions involving maths were asked. Though all the math questions were based on the basic knowledge you learned in school, students who had not taken the subject found it difficult. Candidates who had an interest in the subject found this section very easy. The overall level of difficulty for this section was thus moderate to high. Some of the questions were very easy while some others were tricky. The areas from which the questions were asked are:

- Time, Speed, and Distance

- Profit and Loss
5. Data Analysis and Interpretation
The difficulty level of this section was low to moderate. Students who have learned statistics in school found this section very easy. It is suggestible that students preparing for CUET BHM go through the NCERT textbook chapter of Statistics, to ace this section. Questions are asked from the sections:

- Bar Graphs
- Tables
- Mean and Median
6. Fundamental Accounting
This section was a little difficult for students from streams other than commerce. This section checked the basic knowledge of students in accounting. Most of the questions were asked from the topics covered in the syllabus of classes 11th and 12th. The section included theoretical questions from accounting. Some of the important topic covered by this section are:

- Assets, Liabilities, and Equities
- Definitions
- Accounting Cycle
- Accounting Instruments
- Accounting for Inventories
