Union Minister launches Amrit Grand Challenge Program- JanCARE
Union Minister Jitendra Singh has launched Amrit Grand Challenge Program titled ‘JanCARE’ as a nationwide ‘Discover-Design- Scale’ program.
The Grand Challenge aims to identify 75 Start-Ups and entrepreneurs who come out with innovative ideas and solutions for India’s healthcare challenges.
The challenge has been launched Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), NASSCOM.

Yemeni organisation wins 2021 UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award
The humanitarian organization from Yemen named ‘Jeel Albena Association for Humanitarian Development’ has been declared as the winner of the 2021 UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award.
The award is offered to individuals, groups, or organizations for going above and beyond the call of duty to protect refugees.
The organization was founded in 2017 by Ameen Jubran.

Indian and Australian Navy signs ToR for bilateral cooperation
Indian Navy has signed Terms of Reference (ToR) with the Australian Navy for the conduct of navy to navy talks.
The talks will be conducted under the ‘Joint Guidance for the India-Australia Navy to Navy Relationship’ document framework.
This is the first such document signed by the Indian Navy with any country.

NPCI has partnered with YES Bank to launch ‘RuPay On-the-Go’ contactless payments solutions

The solution is based on a simple “Tap, pay, go’ mechanism and launched in association with Neokred.

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has launched the first Pan-India helpline for senior citizens ‘Elder-Line’.
The helpline will allow senior citizens to connect and share their concerns, get information and guidance on problems they face on a day-to-day basis.
The technical partners are Tata Trusts and NSE Foundation.

NASA’s Lucy Mission to Jupiter
The American Space Agency, NASA is set to send its first spacecraft to study Jupiter’s Trojan asteroids.
The spacecraft will be launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida on October 16, 2021.
Mission Lucy has been launched to investigate the group of rocky bodies that are circling the Sun in two swarms- one preceding Jupiter and the other trailing behind it.
