New Chief Minister of Puducherry: N Rangaswamy
The AINRC founder, N Rangaswamy has been sworn in as the CM of the Union Territory of Puducherry for the fourth time.
He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Lieutenant governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.
It is the first time that Rangaswamy will be heading a coalition cabinet, NDA in the UT, which has members from BJP and AINRC.

Advisory group set up by the RBI to assist RRA 2.0
The RBI has initiated an advisory group to assist the second Regulatory Review Authority (RRA 2.0) established by the central bank.
The RRA was formed to streamline regulations and reduce the compliance burden of regulated entities.
The Advisory Group will be headed by SBI Managing Director S Janakiraman.

The RBI has excluded Lakshmi Vilas Bank (LVB) from the Second Schedule of the RBI Act after it merged with DBIL last year.
A bank mentioned in the Second Schedule of the RBI Act is known as ‘Scheduled Commercial Bank’.
LVB is the second private sector bank after Yes Bank which has run into rough weather during this year.

Online Payments to Farmers & Traders by Kotak Mahindra Bank
KMBL announced its selection as a digital payments partner by the eNAM, a pan-India electronic trading portal for farm produce.
They will enable and facilitate online transactions for all stakeholders on the eNAM platform, including FPOs.
Kotak will provide payment, clearing and settlement services on the eNAM platform to facilitate trade between a buyer and seller of Agri produce.
