New security partnership AUKUS for Indo-Pacific region
US President Joe Biden’s administration has announced a new trilateral security partnership for the Indo-Pacific.
The security partnership was done between Australia, United Kingdom, and the United States.
The 18-month trilateral partnership will help Australia in acquiring nuclear-powered submarines which are quite, more capable as compared to their conventional counterparts.

PM Modi on Time’s ‘100 Most Influential’ List
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been named among the 100 Most Influential People of 2021 by Time Magazine.
West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and CEO of Serum Institute of India, Adar Poonawalla have also been named among the world’s 100 most influential people.
According to Time’s profile of Modi, he is the third leader to dominate India’s politics after Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi.

6th Edition of Exercise SCO Peaceful Mission 2021
The Indian Military contingent consisting of all arms combined force of 200 personnel including 38 personnel from IAF is taking part in Exercise PEACEFUL MISSION 2021.
The exercise hosted by Russia is being held in the Orenburg Region of southwest Russia from September 13 to 25, 2021.
SCO Peaceful Mission is a Multilateral & Joint Counter Terrorism Exercise.

RMI India launches ‘Shoonya’ campaign
NITI Aayog in association with RMI India has launched the ‘Shoonya’ campaign recently.
The Shoonya campaign is an initiative to work with the consumers and industry to promote pollution-free delivery vehicles.
The initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of EVs in the urban delivery segment and raise consumer awareness regarding the benefits of pollution-free delivery.

Kushinagar Airport declared as Customs Notified Airport
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has declared Kushinagar Airport as a Customs notified airport.
The Kushinagar airport is an international airport spread across an area of 600 acres.
The airport was granted the license to operate international flights by DGCA last February.

India to organise first-ever Global Buddhist Conference in November
India is set to host the first-ever Global Buddhist Conference on November 19 and 20, 2021 in Nava Nalanda Mahavihara campus, Nalanda, Bihar.
The annual academic conference is being organized by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).
The Global Buddhist Conference focuses on making India the center of Buddhism by promoting Buddhist activities.

SpaceX launches first all-tourist crew into orbit
The first-ever orbital flight tourist crew Inspiration4 is officially now in orbit.
The passengers will spend three days aboard their 13-foot-wide Crew Dragon capsule in orbit at a 350-mile altitude.
The crew includes 38-year old billionaire Jared Isaacmean, Hayley Aceneux- childhood cancer survivor, Sian Proctor- geologist, and Chris Sembroski- a Lockheed Martin employee.
