DU JAT exam is the Delhi University Joint Admission Test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the admissions to programs under the Delhi University such as Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis) and BA (Hons) in Business Economics. The eligibility of a candidate to appear for the exam is a 60% pass in 10+2 course with English and Mathematics as two main subjects. Section Wise Difficulty Level Analysis
The section-wise analysis of the difficulty level of each of the sections asked in the DU JAT exam is given below:
Quantitative Ability
This section tests the basic awareness of the candidates in the field of mathematics. Students who chose science streams for higher secondary education find this section easier. Thus, the best study material for this section of the DU JAT exam would be the mathematics NCERT textbooks of classes 11th and 12th. The level of arithmetic topics is at par with that of board exams, so 90% of preparation can be done along with your board exam preparation. However, the level of higher maths is one level above that of the boards.
Reasoning and Analytical Ability
Though this section of the DU JAT exam is on the easier side, some of the questions need complete attention as it is easy to misinterpret the questions and get the answers wrong. The section also consumes a bit of time, so the candidates who practice doing similar questions and who improve their time management skills find the section to be easier. This section is generally the easiest section of the DU JAT exam. The section is easy, with most of the questions about reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary. The question pattern includes filling in the blanks, substitutions of words, correction of sentences, and identification of errors. The most commonly asked questions are the colloquial errors we tend to make grammatically, so one needs to be very correct in their everyday language and formal English.
