Why should you solve DU JAT Previous Year Papers?
In the scheme of preparation, previous year papers hold an important place. Even before embarking on preparation it is of utmost importance to familiarise oneself with the exam pattern and there is nothing more suitable for this purpose than previous year papers. Some of the benefits of solving PYPs are:
Free Mock Test: The previous year papers are essentially FREE Mocks which you can take at home to familiarise yourself with the exam pattern. In fact, no mock test can 100% mimic the actual exam pattern except the previous year papers. So, don’t forget to attempt these papers in simulated exam conditions and analyse these papers to understand your performance.
Revision Tool: This is a no brainer. PYPs are a reliable source of questions which have been asked in the previous years which you can use for practice and to sharpen your skills.
Motivation Booster: A previous year paper can be a huge motivation boost if you are able to solve it satisfactorily and attain good scores in it. A word of caution though. Don’t feel disheartened if you are getting low marks initially. Because solving a previous year paper is only to benchmark your preparation and you can only improve from there.
Test Speed & Accuracy: Solving a Previous Year Paper can give you a reliable measure of your speed and accuracy if you solve it in a simulated exam condition. Once you have found your level, you can aim to improve from there.
