The Inspire Scholarship is offered by the Science & Technology department of the Government of India. It is aimed to help students pursuing courses in Basic and Natural Sciences. Also known as the Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE), students who rank in the top 1% in 12th standard in their board examinations, and are admitted to any B.Sc. or integrated M.Sc. courses in any colleges or universities in the country can benefit from this scholarship. Students who rank within the top 10,000 in JEE and NEET are also eligible for this scholarship if they decide to pursue BSc or integrated MSc courses. Rs. 80,000 per year is awarded to 10,000 students who are deemed the most eligible for the scholarship.
HDFC Educational Crisis Scholarship Support
This Scholarship is given out by the HDFC Bank to help students who find themselves in troubling times such as the death of a parent, life-threatening illness, or loss of job of the earning parent, etc. Students from the 6th to 12th standard are eligible to apply for the scholarship, provided that their family income is less than 3 lakhs per annum or that the family is facing a financial crisis for over 2 years. For school students, a scholarship of Rs.10,000 or a tuition fee, whichever is less, is given out every year. For College students, Rs. 25,000 or tuition fee, whichever is less, is given out every year. Over 1000 students avail this scholarship every year.
Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access
 An initiative by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), FAEA provides scholarships to students from SC, ST, and economically backward sections, for undergraduate studies. The scholarship, which is given out to over 50 students every year, covers the total cost of studies of the student and hence varies based on the college of admission. Students from any stream of study can apply for the scholarship, which also covers finance for accommodation and books.
Indian Oil Academic Scholarships
Indian Oil offers merit scholarships to students who are pursuing higher education in the fields of engineering, medical, and management. The scholarship is given out on the basis of the marks secured by a student in the 12th standard. The student must be in their first year of B.Tech. M.B.B.S, or MBA course to apply for this scholarship. B.Tech and M.B.B.S students are awarded Rs. 3000 per month for 4 years and MBA students are awarded Rs. 3000 per month for two years. More than 2500 students avail this scholarship every year.
AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls
 The AICTE Pragati Scholarship is one of the scholarships that helps young women to continue their higher education in the technical field. This scholarship is given out to girls belonging to economically weaker sections who are in their first year of a degree or diploma course in any one of the AICTE approved institutions. Around 4000 girls are offered this scholarship every year, which includes tuition fees up to Rs. 30,000 and another Rs. 2000 per month for 10 months.
