Strategy to follow during JIPMAT exam
In this section of our article, you will find the strategy that one should follow during the JIPMAT exam. Here, the strategy is completely related to attempting questions in this examination. During the examination, there is no other strategy that a student can follow to crack this exam.
A student needs to know how to attempt the question and in what manner they should go for the questions. The strategy for attempting the questions includes:
1. Attempt Easy Questions First
When you are given 100 questions at a time to solve within a specified time, then it becomes important to know which question you should attempt first. In the JIPMAT examination, there is no time limit specified for each of the sections. This means that the candidate can himself decide about the priority of the section.
The strategy that a candidate should follow while deciding the pattern of attempting questions is to move from Easy question to Moderate to Tough. As we know, we have a specified time limit for attempting the questions, so it becomes very important to attempt easy questions first.
Attempting easy questions at first will help the candidate to attempt maximum questions. It is so because it is expected that the level of the JIPMAT exam will be Easy or Moderate. In both situations, a candidate can attempt at least 50 questions overall. These 50 questions will be easy or moderate enough to attempt.
A candidate should not go for difficult questions at first. It is recommended to attempt the difficult questions only if a candidate is left with enough time.
2. Scroll Each question
Now, the next thing that comes after this strategy is how to find out the Easy or Difficult questions among 100 questions? To know the level of such questions, scroll each question and attempt the question if you find it easy. After reading any question, a candidate can easily decide which question is easy and which question will take a lot of time.
Therefore, in such cases, avoid questions that are hard to attempt. Now, if you have a link to view the question paper in one go, then you can use that link. It will be at the top right corner. Read the question paper and start attempting the easy one first.
3. Don’t panic
In case you are solving the quant section first, then don’t panic if you are unable to solve them. If you feel that you are unable to solve such questions, simply move to the Logical Reasoning section. The logical Reasoning section can help a candidate to crack the exam easily. Therefore, move to such questions and don’t panic. Taking stress during the exam can ruin your whole exam.
4. Don’t waste more time on one question
Devoting maximum time to one question can easily spoil your exam and result. This can be especially true in the case of the quant and reasoning section. If you feel that the question seems to be easy but it is taking a lot of time, then simply skip the question and attempt at the last.
JIPMAT exam is an exam having a specified duration, so it is very important to manage time during the examination. Therefore, it is highly recommended to improve your judging skills before giving this exam. A candidate can improve such skills by giving mocks. Mocks will help you to understand the exam pattern and how to manage time during the exam.
Conclusion
Preparation strategy is very important for clearing any examination. But it is also essential to have a strategy that you can use during the exam. JIPMAT by NTA is another competitive exam that requires such strategies. With this article, we have specified such tips that one should follow during the JIPMAT examination.
