National Sports awards are annual awards conferred to individuals and institutions for excellence in sports. The awards are conferred by the President of India on 29th August which is National Sports Day, marking the birthday of legendary hockey Olympian, Dhyan Chand. The awards include:

This year, the selection committee responsible for selecting the winners was headed by a former judge of the Supreme Court, Justice (Retd.) Mukundakam Sharma
